Michelle Collins ‘still cleans’ in between acting roles

Michelle Collins still picks up other jobs in between acting roles.
The former ‘EastEnders’ and ‘Coronation Street’ star – who first appeared as Cindy Beale in Albert Square in 1988 – has offered words of encouragement to young actors who might become disillusioned with doing other work while chasing their dreams.
After Twitter user admitted to doing jobs like waiting tables and bartending early in their acting career, Michelle simply replied: "I still clean !!!"
Although Michelle – who left ‘EastEnders’ in 1998 – ended her time on ‘Corrie’ after three years in 2014, she has gone on to appear in the like of ‘Death in Paradise’ and ‘Midsomer Murders’.
Last year, the 51-year-old star joined the cast of ‘Tracy Beaker’ spin-off ‘The Dumping Ground’ in a recurring role as Fiona Johnson.
On Saturday (23.02.19) Michelle completed a stage run at London’s Park Theatre in Rikki Beadle-Blair’s production of ‘My Dad’s Gap Year’.
Tweeting ahead of the opening night, she said: "Soo excited to return to @ParkTheatre again and to do this fab new play directed by @RikkiBB . (sic)"
Although a soap return doesn’t seem to be on the cards just yet, she has hinted she would be up for a cobbles comeback one day.
She recently told BANG Showbiz: "Never say never, but I wouldn’t go back at the moment.
"I like doing different things. I’m a bit of a chameleon and I think if I went back I would probably stay forever.
"So not yet, not yet."
