Michael Parr considers Emmerdale quit

Michael Parr is considering quitting ‘Emmerdale’.
The 29-year-old actor – who is known for playing bad boy Ross Barton in the long-running soap – has admitted his contract with the show expires in just four months’ time but he’s still toying with the idea of whether to walk away or stay.
Speaking to Inside Soap magazine, he explained: "I’m very happy at ‘Emmerdale’. My contract is up in October, though, so I need to decide what’s going to happen then.
"I’d love to stay, but if they want to write me out and give me a proper exit, I’d be happy with that. I really trust our boss Iain MacLeod as he’s got some great ideas."
However, Michael has teased that there is still plenty in store for his cheeky character over the next few months as sparks will undoubtedly fly once again when his ex-girlfriend Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) returns to the Dales.
Speaking to the RadioTimes.com, he said: "It’d be great to have Charley back. Obviously, there’ll be some kind of dynamic between them, what with her being the love of his life. It’s been refreshing her being away, but when she gets back, there will be sparks for Ross and Debbie."
Michael – who won Best Actor, Best Bad Boy and Sexiest Male at the 2015 Inside Soap Awards – first joined the soap in early 2013 and over the course of three years has seen his alter-ego tangled up in a love story, a series of conniving scams, feisty family feuds and attempted murder.
