Michael Hutchence was lost to the world at the age of just 37.
On 22 November 1997, the INXS singer was found dead in Room 524 at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Double Bay, Sydney.
He was discovered hanging in the room and speculation has always surrounded his death with people speculating that he may have died due to sexual misadventure rather than because he committed suicide.
Tragically his TV presenter lover Paula Yates – who had been married to Bob Geldof – died three years later from a heroin overdose in 2000 at the age of 41.
