Michael Griffiths overjoyed to see ex Amber Gill win on Love Island

Michael Griffiths was overjoyed to see his ex Amber Gill win on ‘Love Island’ on Monday night (29.07.19).
The firefighter took to social media to react to the news that his former flame was taking home £25,000 after her and her new man Greg O’Shea triumphed in the ITV2 show.
In a video posted to his Instagram account, Michael – who attending the Love Island Experience event on Brighton beach alongside former contestant Josh Denzel – can be seen shouting "oh s**t" multiple times, before admitting: "I didn’t expect that, wow!"
Elsewhere, former islander Anna Vakili – who was only booted out the show a few days ago – heaped praise on her "little sister" as the scenes aired.
She wrote: "I’m buzzin my best friend and little sis on the island WON! She’s so beautiful inside and out and the REALEST BITCH – love you so much girl can’t wait to see you. You were always a winner in my eyes anyway. (sic)"
In sweet declarations in the final show, Greg penned a poem for Amber.
In his speech, he said: "I’m going to keep this short and sweet, just like when we first came to meet. Up in the Hideaway sheltered from the trouble, we instantly connected and formed our own little bubble."
Whilst in response, Amber noted her ups and downs with ex Michael before thanking Greg for "building her back up".
She said: "It would be fair to say that I’ve had quite a journey in the villa this summer. There have been so many highs and then some lows, but then along came Greg. Thank you for helping to build me back up. You’ve always been so sweet and lovely to me and you’ve managed to bring out my soft side."
