Michael Greco would love EastEnders comeback

Michael Greco wants to return to ‘EastEnders’.
The 49-year-old actor would love to bring his character Beppe Di Marco back to Albert Square 18 years after he was last seen on the BBC One soap.
Speaking on ‘The Morning After Podcast with Paul Danan’, he said: "Of course I would [reprise the role].
"I was always a good role model for their show. I won awards, turned up on time and knew my lines."
The former soap star – who became a poker player after his time on the show – played Beppe for four years.
But Michael admitted he wasn’t the best of pals with all of his co-stars during his time on the soap.
Referring to Ian Beale actor Adam Woodyatt, he hinted: "We never really spoke, me and Adam. He wasn’t my cup of tea."
And Michael has also admitted in the past he turned his back on acting because he wasn’t a fan of life in the limelight.
Back in 2018, he explained: "I kind of gave up acting a while ago, a couple of years after I left ‘EastEnders’ and just thought this celeb style isn’t really for me.
"I just wanted to shun the limelight and stay away from any kind of press and anything like that."
However, even then he insisted he would never rule it out and he has a lot of fond memories from his time on the soap.
He added: "It’s a programme which gave me a great lifestyle. I’ve still got some great friends there and the character was fantastic.
"I haven’t directly been asked [to come back] but I was rumoured and if I was asked I’d have a think about it."
