Melissa George offered Home and Away return

Melissa George has been offered a return to ‘Home and Away’.
The 41-year-old actress has dropped a huge hint that she may make a return to Summer Bay to reprise her role of Angel Parrish – who she played from 1993 to 1996 – in the near future.
She said: "They have offered, but I don’t know."
The former ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ actress admitted being associated with the show is a "hard thing to shake" and while she has previously tried to distance herself from the popular soap, she no longer attempts to do so.
She added to Daily Telegraph Australia: "At one point I tried to shake it, but there is no point."
In 2012, Melissa slammed Australia’s ‘The Morning Show’ for calling her a "’Home and Away’ actress" and broadcasting footage of her in the soap, 12 years after she departed the show.
She said at the time: "Right behind my head was pictures of Angel, and on the montage they called me ‘Home and Away actress Melissa George’.
"Now, it’s because it’s Channel Seven, so my next call will be to ‘Home and Away’ to ask them to pay me because nobody does more promotion for that f**king show than me."
But the programme’s executive producer Sarah Stinson admitted at the time she thought Melissa’s reaction was a prank because it was "surreal".
She said: "At first I thought I was being Punk’d because it seemed so surreal.
"We’re genuinely proud of Melissa’s achievements, she’s done a lot of great work, and I didn’t realise she had such an issue with her roots.
"Most of our guests are usually proud to embrace where they’ve come from and we never would have done anything to purposely upset her."
Since departing Summer Bay, Melissa has starred in movies ‘The Amityville Horror’ and ‘Mulholland Drive’, and she was nominated for a Golden Globe award for her role as Laura Hill in HBO drama ‘In Treatment’.
