Meghan Trainor and Jill Scott joined forces for a cover of Shania Twain’s ‘Man, I Feel Like a Woman’ at the CMT Artists of the Year show.
The ‘No’ hitmaker and Grammy award-winning star were joined on stage by rising country singer Kelsea Ballerini as they belted out the 1997 classic at the star-studded ceremony held at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
The evening saw Shania, 51, honoured with the Artist of a Lifetime gong by Country Music Television [CMT] and she said she was thankful for the broadcasters support over the years.
She said: "I want to thank CMT for being such a huge support all these years even in my more rebellious years in the beginning when I was probably considered controversial, but you still put me on the air."
Carrie Underwood, Christ Stapleton, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan and Thomas Rhett also received the Artists of The Year title.
Thomas previously said he owes his career to country-turned-pop singer Taylor Swift.
He previously told BANG Showbiz: "Me and Taylor actually grew up in the same town and knew a lot of the same people so when I first met Taylor so we sort of had that in common. And you know, every time me and my wife have been around Taylor she has been nothing but encouraging and given me honestly the best music advice you could ask for."
The show will air on Thursday on US channel Country Music Television.
