Meghan Markle’s half-sister says the actress has the "grace" of Princess Diana.
Samantha Grant – who shares the same father as Meghan – has spoken about how similar the ‘Suits’ star is to her boyfriend Prince Harry’s late mother as she shares her "giving" and "peaceful" qualities and is not a "partier".
She told Entertainment Tonight: "She’s got the eloquence of Condoleezza Rice, and the grace of Princess Diana."
"She’s not wild, she’s not garish, she’s not a partier.
"She’s just very beautiful and conservative, very real, very giving. She’s just a peaceful person."
Diana – who tragically passed away in a car crash in Paris in August 1997 aged just 36 – was known for her charitable nature and her humanitarian work, just like Meghan who was recently in Rwanda in Eastern Africa at the Gihembe refugee camp for UN Women.
The 35-year-old beauty, who has been dating the 32-year-old royal for six months, recently admitted she has found it "challenging" juggling fame with her philanthropy work.
Speaking about being asked to attend the BAFTAS in London in an essay penned for Elle UK magazine, she wrote: "My brain, heart and spirit couldn’t shift gears that quickly, from the purpose-driven work I had been doing all week in Rwanda to the polished glamour of an awards show. ‘No,’ my heart said. And it wasn’t a soft whisper; it was a lion’s roar …
"And in that moment, my gut said no because while my two worlds can coexist, I’ve learned that being able to keep a foot in both is a delicate balance. No, they are not mutually exclusive but guiding my heart through the swinging pendulum from Hollywood fantasy to third-world reality is challenging in its own way."
