Meghan Markle wanted to be the President of the United States as a child

Meghan Markle wanted to be the American President when she was younger.
The 35-year-old ‘Suits’ star – who is rumoured to be dating Britain’s Prince Harry’ – has revealed prior to becoming an actress she had always imagined she would reside in the White House and be the ruler of the US or a calligrapher.
Speaking about her plans for the future when she was a child, she said: "As a kid I wanted to be either President of the United States or a news broadcaster.
"[But] I’ve enjoyed living in Canada [where ‘Suits’ is filmed] for the past five years.
"I’m also a trained calligrapher.
"I did all the cards and envelopes for Robin Thicke’s wedding! We’re losing the art of handwriting and it’s such a shame. There’s still something incredibly romantic and special about a guy writing to a girl and putting pen to paper rather than emailing it, whether his writing is chicken scratch or looks like a doctor’s note."
And the brunette beauty has revealed she once reached out to the American politician Hillary Clinton, who was runner up to Donald Trump in this year’s Presidential election, because she had a complaint about what she believed was a sexist advert.
Meghan explained to The mail on Sunday’s Event magazine: "When I was 11, I saw this ad for dish soap powder that said: ‘Women all over America are fighting greasy pots and pans.’ I was so angry. I couldn’t understand why it didn’t say men as well. My parents always told me if I believed something was wrong, I should try to fix it. So, I wrote to all sort of people including Hillary Clinton and the soap’s manufacturers Procter and Gamble, demanding they change it. It worked. They altered the wording from ‘women’ to ‘people’."
