Megan Fox isn’t passionate about acting and doesn’t see her long-term future in Hollywood.
The 29-year-old beauty admitted her enviable good looks have helped to propel her career, and she doesn’t mind if that’s the only reason why she secures certain roles.
The ‘Transformers’ star explained: "I’m not like a silly, stupid little actress but I don’t care if people only want to hire me to look pretty.
"In Hollywood your time is limited and I’m not passionate about it."
Indeed, the mother-of-two admitted she doesn’t care about personal accolades for her on-screen performances.
She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "It is what it is. I don’t care.
"I feel like if I was really hung up on critical acclaim or people’s opinions then I would be more pressured, I would strive harder to disprove such a stereotype.
"But sometimes you just get pigeon-holed.
"I have fun most of the time making movies, and that’s the main objective because it’s just a job."
Megan said since her childhood in Memphis, she has always been prepared to stand out from the crowd and speak her mind.
She shared: "Where I’m from in Memphis, women are damsels and ladies and they’re gentle or whatever. I was very fiery and no-nonsense.
"I put that out there instantly in this industry because it’s important for people to understand that I am not a dumb girl, I’m a very clever girl and you’re not going to get anything over on me."
Meanwhile, the actress also confessed that her career has already reached something of a crossroads.
She said: "I’m trying to figure out what I really want to do with the rest of my life because Hollywood is not a land where you can work until you’re elderly, when you’re a woman especially."
