Megan Barton Hanson says her ‘world is crumbling’ following Wes Nelson split

Megan Barton Hanson says her "whole world is crumbling" following her break-up with Wes Nelson.
The 24-year-old reality TV star – who publicly split from her the 20-year-old hunk, who she met on ‘Love Island’ last summer, on Saturday (26.01.19) – is devastated about the break-up, but she is "determined" to have a "positive and happy" 2019.
Writing on her Instagram Stories, she said: "Hands down one of the worst days of my life.
"I can’t thank you enough for the support. It makes it all worth while (the endless trolling, negative stories, dealing with publicly breaking up, being papped having to force a smile when my whole world is crumbling).
"Feels like I can’t put a foot right BUT knowing I can help motivate/ inspire people even a TINY bit makes me want to continue on in the public eye.
"I’m determined to make 2019 a positive and happy year. (sic)"
The blonde then posted a video which showed her scraping Wes’ name off of a cheese board which her mother bought the couple for Christmas.
She said: "So my mum got me and Wes a cheese board for Christmas after our cheese and wine night with the lube in the background. But we didn’t even get a chance to use it."
As she proceeded to scrape out Wes’ name with the instrument, she said: "At least these cheese tools can come in handy."
Megan’s comments come after ‘Dancing on Ice’ star Wes shared a picture of himself smiling in his swimming trunks while abroad.
He captioned the Instagram picture: "Being happy is a way of life not a destination."
Megan and Wes moved in together in October, but confirmed last weekend they had gone their separate ways.
