McFly postpone tour

McFly have postponed their ‘Anthology’ tour until September.
The quartet have been forced to reschedule their planned concerts in June – in which they would perform their albums in full on consecutive nights at four different venues – after drummer Harry Judd was stricken by a herniated disc.
Harry revealed the news on Instagram, writing: "I’m absolutely gutted to say that we’ve had to postpone the tour as I’ve herniated a disc in my neck.
"I’ve honestly tried everything to make it work but I’d never want to do a tour where I wouldn’t be able to give you guys the 110% performance you deserve every night.
"I’m gunna do all the rehab possible to get myself ready to do the most epic shows we’ve ever put on! Love Harry, Barry, The Triple D, The not quite as good half of Pudd or whatever it is you wanna call me x #mcfly #itsnotalwayseasy (sic)"
Singer Tom Fletcher tried to reassure fans the rearranged dates – their first shows as McFly since 2013 – were still not "that far" away.
He tweeted: "Obviously we’re all as gutted as you are but September isn’t that far."
And he joked the delay will make things easier for co-frontman Danny Jones.
He quipped: "Sorry we’ve had to move the tour. Completely Harry’s fault. All complaints to be sent to @mcflyharry. On a more positive note, it gives Danny more time to learn the words to our songs. See you all in September."
The group, which also includes Dougie Poynter, will perform three shows in London, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester.
The first night will see the ‘Star Girl’ group – who have most recently been touring in supergroup McBusted with Busted’s Matt Willis and James Bourne – play their debut album ‘Room on the Third Floor’, with the second show featuring follow-up LPs ‘Wonderland’ and ‘Motion in the Ocean’.
The final gig at each venue will see them perform tracks from ‘Radioactive’ and ‘Above the Noise’.
