Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard are wanted for ‘Ex on the Beach’.
MTV bosses are said to be keen to sign up the couple – who split earlier this month – for the reality show, which sees a group of singletons in Marbella wait for their ex-lovers to wash up ashore.
However, neither of the reality stars are said to be up for taking part because they both have other commitments.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "Seeing them hash out their relationship would be a ratings winner. But neither party is keen despite the offer of a huge pay packet."
The former ‘Love Island’ stars met on the ITV2 dating show just eight months ago, but they’ve now called time on their romance, with the 29-year-old ex-grid girl confirming the news on her Instagram earlier this month.
She said: "Curtis and I have made the decision to separate. We enjoyed a great experience from our time in the villa and want to thank everyone for supporting our relationship. There is no easy way to get through a break up and no bad feeling on either side. "We tried to make it work but it wasn’t to be, and I wish Curtis nothing but the best for the future."
Maura and Curtis, 24, hadn’t been pictured together since they hosted the National Television Awards’ backstage interviews on January 28th.
