Matt Willis has found being a musician has been "harder" since he had children.
The Busted band member – who makes up one third of the group alongside Charlie Simpson and James Bourne, which have reunited after 12 years apart – has admitted "everything’s different" now he is a parent and a singer and finds it difficult to balance both when he has to travel and leave his family.
Speaking to The Sun Online about the band’s comeback, Matt – who has six-year-old daughter Isabelle and four-year-old son Ace with his wife Emma Willis – said: "I think everything’s different when you have a kid.
"Working is a little bit harder because when you’re away that’s the down side of being in a band – that you have you have some time away from your family.
"But that’s just our job and we get to do something really cool for a living, which is awesome but then we go home."
Meanwhile, the 33-year-old singer has revealed his brood share the same interests as him and have "quite [a] good taste" in music, although he thinks he has forced them to like certain artists.
He explained: "My kids have quite good taste in music – I think that’s a slightly forceful hand from me, but they watch terrible TV shows.
"They watch this horrible thing called the descendants it’s on all the time, it’s horrible stuff."
And in a bid to alter his children’s taste in television he put on ‘Ace Ventura’ starring Jimmy Carey, although he had to swiftly change the channel when it started to be "inappropriate".
He explained: "I put on ‘Ace Ventura’ for them the other day and they absolutely loved it and then it got really rude really quickly and I thought, ‘this is inappropriate, I need to turn this off.’
" I said ‘Oh she’s tickling him!’"
