Matt Goss gets Las Vegas residency

Matt Goss has bagged himself a new residency in Las Vegas.
The 49-year-old singer-songwriter last played in Sin City in 2016 when he secured a series of gigs at Caesars Palace, but he’s set to return to the lively strip at the end of the year when he makes his debut at The Mirage, a residency inside Hakkasan Group’s 1 OAK Nightclub in Nevada, on December 2 for ‘Matt Goss at The Mirage’.
He said: "Since I was 17, I’ve been singing professionally and entertaining audiences all over the world.
"And after all my incredible career highs, I can honestly say I have never felt more proud and excited to start my show, ‘Matt Goss at The Mirage.’ "
Matt’s show will be the first of this kind to ever grace The Mirage and he’s promised to put on a spectacular performance that will combine his intoxicating vocal sets, big band instrumentals and old-school glamour to ensure he fulfils the nicknam "The New King of Vegas" that the locals have given him.
Franz Kallao, general manager of The Mirage, said: "From his pure vocal talent to magnetic stage presence, Matt Goss is one of a kind.
"We couldn’t be more excited to announce our partnership. His new residency will add something truly special to the guest experience at The Mirage and fans will love experiencing his show in this intimate venue."
Meanwhile, in between his solo work, Matt has been touring with his band The Bros. – comprised also of his twin brother Luke Goss – and they recently announced that they will be heading to Australia at some point in the future.
In a series of tweets, Matt wrote on his Twitter account: "We are coming to #australia … Love you guys!! Yes it’s official! … Hey Oz and everyone else let’s get #BrosAustralia trending! (sic)"
Whilst Luke wrote on his own account: "We are coming to #Australia #Excited (sic)"
Concert dates and venues for the Australian tour have yet to be announced but the tour is expected to sell incredibly well as the news was well received by their Australian fans, who flooded social media to express their excitement.
