Matt Damon has praised George Clooney as a "great" dad.
The 56-year-old actor became a father for the first time in June when his wife Amal gave birth to twins Alexander and Ella, and his close friend and fellow actor Matt has said the star is "a lot calmer" around the tots than he first imagined.
Matt said: "It took him until his 50′s but I think he grew up finally. He’s loving it, he’s great and he’s a lot calmer than I thought he would be with twins."
And the 47-year-old actor – who has four daughters, Alexia, 18, Isabella, 11, Gia, nine, and Stella, seven, with his wife Luciana Barroso – insists he isn’t giving George any advice on parenting, as he thinks dealing with two babies at once would be "horrific".
He added: "People ask if I give him advice and I’m like, ‘No’, two babies at once, that’s horrific."
George is doing just fine as a parent with the help of his 39-year-old wife, and Matt says the two tots recently made the transition to eating solid foods.
Speaking during an appearance on ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’ on Thursday (26.10.17), ‘The Martian’ actor said: "He did confide in me that they went onto solid foods last week and so he’s trying to get off of diaper duty now. That’s a whole other level. He was like ‘Diapers are easy,’ and I was like, ‘Wait for it.’"
Despite being praised as an excellent dad, the ‘Money Monster’ star recently admitted he’s "scared to death" of "breaking" his children because they are so small.
He said: "Listen, I’m scared to death, it’s terrifying. You’re afraid of breaking them. They’re so little."
George also revealed that his two children have very different personalities, as his daughter is "very elegant and dainty", whilst his son is heavier and is like a "thug".
Speaking previously, the movie icon said: "They’re born with personalities. Ella is very elegant and dainty she has these big beautiful eyes, she looks like Amal."
"[Alexander] weighs three pounds more than his sister … He’s just a thug, he’s a fat little boy, he laughs louder than everyone in the room, it’s the funniest thing."
