Matt Damon believes George Clooney will be a "mess" as a father.
The 46-year-old actor – who starred alongside the silver fox in the ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ franchise – has urged the 55-year-old star to "get prepared" for the arrival of his twin children with his wife Amal, and although he believes his friend will be a "great" father, he also thinks the 39-year-old lawyer will have to take control because George will be a wreck.
Speaking about the upcoming birth and how he thinks the ‘Money Monster’ star will cope to ET Online, he quipped: "He’s going to get prepared. He better figure it out, because they’re on the way. But he’ll be great. He’ll be a mess, but [Amal] will take care of everything."
However, the ‘The Martian’ star has praised George, who directed and stars in ‘Suburbicon’ alongside Julianne Moore and Matt, as a "great" filmmaker.
He explained: "I’d do the phone book with George. He’s just a great, great director."
And Matt – who has daughters Alexia, 17, Isabella, 10, Gia, eight, and Stella, six, with his wife Luciana Barroso – enjoys working alongside George because they have "a lot of fun" together, and he only hopes they will continue working together on more movies in the future.
He said: "He makes it a lot of fun, so hopefully he’ll have another gig for me."
Matt counts himself a lucky man because he has a "good" group of friends around him, who will "always" support one another.
Speaking about his pals, he said: "I have a good group of friends. We always keep track of each other and look out for each other."
