Rochelle Humes has hinted her husband Marvin Humes will continue to present ‘The Voice’ when it shifts to ITV.
The 27-year-old beauty has teased that her handsome spouse, who has hosted the BBC One show since 2014 alongside Emma Willis, will follow the singing programme when it returns to screens next year on a new channel.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the British Academy Television Awards, held at the Royal Festival Hall in London, last night (08.05.16), she said: "No, he hasn’t left ‘The Voice’… well… erm… no, I don’t know."
But, while Marvin seems to have his next job lined-up, Rochelle is still in limbo with regards to her hosting gig as she’s yet to find out whether she’ll be called back to front the ‘The Xtra Factor’ – the spin-off of the main show ‘The X Factor’ – later this year with her co-host Melvin Odoom.
The brunette babe, who replaced Olly Murs and Caroline Flack on the spin-off last year, said: "I’m not sure if we’re gonna get called back to ‘The Xtra Factor’. Obviously, me and Melv had a ball doing it but ‘Xtra Factor’ is always last minute. I got booked like literally two weeks before I started filming last year so it’s not normal to know that yet anyway. I guess I’ll probably find out in about a months’ time."
And, although they are both trying to make a name for themselves in the presenting world, Rochelle thinks it will be a bad idea if she worked with Marvin, 31, on their own show.
She explained: "He’s got his TV wife. We never consciously decided to work together. ‘This Morning’ just kind of happened by accident because we had a meeting and were told to cover that. It was never really a plan that we set out to work with one another, you know.
"So if it happens by chance, then it’s good. But I’m not planning on being with him anymore than I already am. We don’t bicker because we only ever do the odd day presenting together but I think we’d be in trouble if we did. I’m sure if we presented together more, we’d drive each other mad."
