Marvin Brooks leaves Love Island villa

Marvin Brooks has been dumped from the ‘Love Island’ villa.
The semi-professional footballer was booted out of the show in a dramatic recoupling during Thursday night’s (11.07.19) show.
Speaking about his time in the villa following his exit, he said: "It was definitely a lot longer than I expected! In terms of finding someone romantically, I found it difficult but in terms of friendship, I had a brilliant time! It was unbelievable."
In the recoupling, new girl Francesca Allen caused a stir when she chose Curtis Pritchard to couple up with – despite Maura Higgins expressing an interest in the dancer – whilst Anna Vakili chose Jordan Hames, who she has grown back close to after returning from Casa Amor. Single Amber Gill chose her good friend Ovie Soko in the hope he will have a chance to find love with someone else in the villa whilst Maura gave new boy Chris Taylor a chance, although she seemingly hinted there was nothing romantic going to happen between them.
Strong couples Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, Michael Griffiths and Joanna Chimonides and Belle Hassan and Anton Danyluk all chose to recouple up with their respective partners.
Marvin is rooting for Molly-Mae and Tommy – who are currently the only official couple in the villa – to win the show.
He said: "I think Tommy and Molly-Mae are the obvious choice. They are acting like a couple who’ve been together for years. They’re so comfortable with each other. It’s really nice to see. I’m starting to see Michael and Joanna getting really close and they’re starting to show those signs. Those couples are the strongest for me."
And when it comes to the new love triangle between Maura, Curtis and Francesca, Marvin thinks the Essex beauty will come out on top.
He shared: "I feel Francesca is more Curtis’ type and I think their romance will blossom. But it won’t happen easily because Maura will definitely have her say in the matter."
