Marvin and Rochelle heading to Strictly to support friends

Marvin and Rochelle Humes are heading down to ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ this Saturday night (30.09.17) to support their friends Aston Merrygold and Mollie King.
Marvin and Aston were in boy band JLS together and Rochelle, 28, and Mollie, 30, were both members of The Saturdays and the married couple will be in the studio audience this weekend to cheer their pals on as they attempt to wow the judges with their ballroom skills on the BBC One series.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the launch party for the new Michael Jackson album ‘Scream’, 32-year-old Marvin said: "It’s a great year on ‘Strictly…’ for the family because I’ve got my mate Aston in it and Rochelle has got Mollie in there so we’re really rooting for those guys. We’re hoping to go down this Saturday to cheer them on."
The presenter-and-DJ has been speaking to Aston, 29, about how his rehearsals have been going in the run-up to the week’s show and his former bandmate has confessed he’s been suffering with "a lot of aches and pains" caused by his professional partner Janette Manrara putting him through his paces in rehearsals.
Marvin revealed: "I’ve spoke to Aston, he’s got a lot of aches and pains. It’s very different to what we were doing in the band, it’s hard, he’s feeling tired, but he’s loving it."
Aston and Janette topped the leaderboard earning 31 points from the judges – Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli, Darcey Bussell and head judge Shirley Ballas – after impressing with an untraditional foxtrot to ‘It Had To Be You’, resulting in the pop hunk being told he was "one to watch" by Darcey.
Mollie is partnered with AJ Pritchard and the pair danced an impressive jive to ‘Good Golly Miss Molly’ last weekend.
Marvin was joined at the glitzy event at London’s Freemasons’ Hall by a host of other celebrities, including his fellow JLS bandmate Oritse Williams, Amelia Lily, Love Island’s Georgia Harrison, Paul Danan and Anthea Turner.
The party was held to celebrate the release of the posthumous LP from Jackson which is comprised of 13 of his most dance-worthy songs including ‘Ghosts’, ‘Torture’ and ‘Thriller’ and bonus track ‘Blood on the Dance Floor X Dangerous’, which is a high-energy five-song mashup from the acclaimed remixer The White Panda.
‘Scream’ – which is the title of the 1995 duet Michael released with his sister Janet Jackson – is available from September 29.
