Martin Kemp asked to do Strictly Come Dancing

Martin Kemp has been asked "a lot" to do ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The ‘Let It Shine’ judge thinks bosses of the ballroom and latin show are probably "sick" of asking him to sign up to the programme now because he keeps turning them down.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the National Television Awards, held at London’s O2 Arena, on Wednesday (25.01.17), he said: "They ask me a lot [to go on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’] but I think they’ve got so used to me saying ‘No’, they’ve not asked me. I can’t dance. There are some things I have to admit I can’t do."
But the Spandau Ballet singer certainly has his hands full for the time being as he’s currently sitting on the panel of ‘Let It Shine’ alongside Gary Barlow, Dannii Minogue and Amber Riley in the hope of finding five singers for a new Take That musical.
He said: "If there are kids out there who are better than these guys then they will get the job. It’s not just about who is best. It’s about the chemistry as well."
And the 55-year-old singer is so pleased with how well the show is doing at the moment and hopes bosses decide to bring it back next year for a second series.
He explained: "I love the job, I love doing what I’m doing at the moment, it is so much fun. And if there’s a chance that can carry on with Gary and Dannii then why not?"
