Markus Feehily takes swipe at Brian McFadden for The Jump gig

Westlife’s Markus Feehily has taken a subtle swipe at his former bandmate Brian McFadden for starring on ‘The Jump’.
The 35-year-old singer has admitted he’d never stoop so low as to join a reality TV show – such as the winter sports show – just to boost his celebrity profile because it’s not his "thing."
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, he said: "I don’t gravitate towards those celebrity things. I watch reality shows and enjoy them but to be in them is a different thing … Doing a random show to up my profile wouldn’t naturally be my thing."
But, although he’s not willing to slip into a thermal suit and hit the Austrian slopes like Brian – who came fourth in the programme – did last month, Markus is open to picking up an apron and getting his hands dirty in the ‘MasterChef’ kitchen.
He added: "I’m not the best cook but I’ve got more interested in it recently, so ‘MasterChef’ could be fun … Cut to six months down the line and we’ll see what happens."
And Markus is certainly ready for the gig if it were to come his way as he used to sell hand-made beverages from his catering van at festivals in his native Ireland.
He said: "We did mojitos and prosecco at the summer festivals and crepes and Irish coffees for the winter ones. We went on barista courses to learn to do it properly."
