Mark Wright’s kids show ‘The Dengineers’ has been picked up by US television.
The Discovery Family Channel, which is available to watch in over 70 million households across the United States, have agreed to pick up the popular CBBC show, which helps young people build the perfect den, The Sun newspaper reports.
The former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star has been signed up to present the UK show for a second series later this year.
And if the 29-year-old television personality makes it in the US, his wife Michelle Keegan wouldn’t mind if he takes extended trips away as she previously insisted it is "not that bad" being away from him.
Michelle, who has just finished filming military drama ‘Our Girl’ in South Africa, said: "It’s not that bad being away for so long. When Mark was filming recently, he was away for three weeks at a time, then came back for five days and was off again for three weeks.
"I think it just comes with the job. As long as we’re happy that’s all that matters. We’ll make it work."
However, his trips to the US definitely won’t be inspiring a career in acting for him as he previously insisted he hasn’t got "the bug" despite making a cameo appearance in ‘Murder in Successville’.
He shared: "It was one of the best things I’ve done. You don’t have a script, so I had to enter a scene and just react to the situation. I wouldn’t say it’s given me the acting bug though. I just want to keep presenting. One day I want to host big shows on a Saturday night."
