Mark Little says there is a divide between the celebrities on ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The 59-year-old actor – who is best known for portraying Joe Mangel in ‘Neighbours’ – claims the stars are split into two friendship groups on the ITV show, and said he especially bonded with a handful of the contestants, including Jane Danson and Didi Conn.
He is quoted by the Daily Mirror as saying: "Everyone really! It’s a really nice cast.
"We’re sort of split into two groups so we saw our group more than the other group. Jane Danson and Didi Conn and Saara [Aalto] are really nice folk.
"The professional skaters are charming people, hard-working people.
"They’re really generous with their advice and their talent … just amazing.
"Being on the ice with those sportsmen, those artists. They’re elite sportsmen but they’re performance artists and there aren’t many disciplines like it.
"I don’t think there is anything like it. I was just fascinated by it."
Mark and his professional skating partner Brianne Delcourt became the first skating couple to leave the ITV show’s latest series on Sunday (13.01.19) after losing out in the skate-off to Ryan Sidebottom and Brandee Malto.
Speaking after his exit, Mark said: "I did my best. I’d never have imagined I’d do any of that so I’m really really happy. We’ve had a great time.
"I’ll continue to skate – it’ll be my new past time. It’s a gorgeous thing to do."
Brianne added: "You’ve learned a new skill. You can teach your grandchildren."
It was a clean sweep as all four judges – Jason Gardiner, Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean – chose to save Ryan and Brandee.
