Mark Labbett says Jenny Ryan and Anne Hegerty are the top Chasers

Jenny Ryan and Anne Hegerty are the top two quizzers on ‘The Chase’.
The pair’s co-star, Mark Labbett, has compiled a spreadsheet tallying who is the lead pro quizzer on the ITV show, but he would only reveal that the ladies have answered the most questions correctly.
When asked by Phillip Schofield on ‘This Morning’ who the "lead chaser" was, he replied: "I’m sorry I’m not allowed to reveal her name.
"The ladies are one and two."
Jenny insisted she works hard to be prepared for the show and always keeps on-the-ball with the latest news.
She said: "You’ve always got to be looking at the news and what’s changing in the world the new things on TV, film, pop music and politics and always with that mind of how likely is it to come up at work."
The 37-year-old TV personality also opened up about how Anne approached her specifically to audition for the show after producers announced they were looking for a new female chaser.
She said: "Anne and I quiz on the same quiz league team in Bolton.
"It started out sort of my family team. We were recruited quite a few years ago and she did approach me one cold January in a Conservative club and said that the producers were looking to audition some new chasers and they would like someone female and like someone younger.
"While she liked being the only female Chaser if there had to be another one, she’d quite like it to be me."
