Mark Hamill told everyone to "blow up a Death Star" if they wanted to become the Icon of the Year at the GQ Men of the Year Awards 2017 in London on Tuesday (05.09.17).
The 65-year-old ‘Star Wars’ legend was presented the award by British comedian Simon Pegg, and during his acceptance speech he advised anyone who wanted to get their hands on the accolade how to do so.
He said: "I know what you’re thinking. You’re asking for advice on how to become GQ Icon of the Year. Firstly blow up a Death Star. You will gain the goodwill and deep gratitude of untold millions and it will last a lifetime.
"Once you’ve made an icon out of someone like Luke Skywalker. Go for The Joker, someone of villainy and depravity. If you’ve accomplished those two steps, step three is pretty easy."
The legend sported a smart black suit, which he paired with a crisp white shirt and black bow tie for the star studded bash.
And he was joined at the prestigious event with his wife Marilou York.
