Mark-Francis Vandelli wants to ban sandals

Mark-Francis Vandelli thinks wearing flip-flops should be banned.

The ‘Made In Chelsea’ star has confessed he thinks it’s socially unacceptable to expose too much of ones feet while in public and therefore would like the production of sandals to be halted.

Quizzed on whether he liked flip flops, he exclaimed: "No! They should not be worn. EVER. There is no instance in which this footwear should even be allowed out of the factory and onto the high street."

The reality TV star claims his aversion to the footwear is perfectly understandable, as personal hygiene is one of the most important factors on his list of good manners.

He explained: "For me, odour is very important. People who wear too much perfume, I can’t bear. Offending my nostrils is a big no-no."

The 25-year-old Londoner also revealed that while he doesn’t like to be exposed to unpleasant smells or bad table-manners, he doesn’t mind using public transport in certain areas of his hometown.

Mark told heat magazine: "I have no problem jumping on the bus, taking myself to Bond Street, popping into Yves Saint Laurent and picking something up."
