Mark Fowler Jr. shocks EastEnders viewers

‘EastEnders’ fans were in shock last night (11.08.16) as Mark Fowler Jr. turned up in Walford.
Ned Porteous made his debut as the character who appeared at his uncle Martin (James Bye) and Stacey Fowler’s (Lacey Turner) house in the closing stages of Thursday night’s episode.
After being let in by Kyle Slater (Riley Carter Millington), he walked into the living room after flying in from the US and declared: "I wasn’t sure this was the right address?"
A shocked Martin said: "Mark?!"
Dressed in a black leather jacket and white T-shirt, fans took to Twitter in their droves to comically compare the character to John Travolta’s Danny Zuko from 1978 movie ‘Grease’.
After the episode, Ned tweeted: "The secrets out! Stay tuned for more! #EastEnders (sic)"
Mark has turned up in Albert Square to meet his real father, Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp), just a day after Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) rang to tell him that the bad boy was his dad.
Grant had a one-night stand with Mark’s mum Michelle Fowler in the 90s.
During Thursday’s episode, Martin was livid when he discovered Phil had told Mark about Grant and tried to convince him not to tell his brother about his unknown son.
It was known that Ned had been cast as Mark but viewers were not aware when the character was going to make his debut.
While Grant appeared to walk off forever on Tuesday night’s (09.08.16) episode, Ross recently confirmed he will be on screen until September.
He said: "Three weeks in EastEnders. The episodes I’m in are split over the end of August and September.
"It’s a very strong Mitchell storyline. It’s the Mitchells back together!"
