Mariah Carey travelled by boat down the River Thames to her gig at London’s O2 Arena last night (23.03.16).
The ‘We Belong Together’ hitmaker was certainly keen to make a grand entrance when she arrived for her last Sweet Sweet Fantasy show in the capital yesterday by ditching her private car in favour of a brisk water ride onboard a yacht.
Despite the chilly temperature, the 45-year-old singer didn’t let her ensemble suffer as she waltz out of the Corinthia Hotel, where she is currently staying, in a white full-length fur coat and a slinky sheer thigh-high split frock underneath.
However, although she chose to travel by boat to avoid the city traffic, the blonde beauty still managed to arrive at the Greenwich-based venue 30 minutes later than planned.
But it wasn’t just her beloved fans that were left waiting for their idol as Mariah’s billionaire fiancé James Packer, who was sitting in the audience, was also eager to see his lover.
Mariah’s late arrival is something she’s got into the habit of as she also turned up on stage at the First Direct Arena in Leeds 45 minutes after her scheduled set last week.
And the diva’s delay seemingly rubbed fans up the wrong way as just hours earlier she had joked on her Twitter that she hates having to leave her "fabulous bed" for gigs.
She wrote: "My darling #Lambs! As much as I hate leaving this fabulous bed at the @CorinthiaLondon, I am on my way to see you all in Leeds in 30 mins! (sic)"
