Mariah Carey splits from manager Stella Bulochniko

Mariah Carey has split from her manager.
The ‘We Belong Together’ hitmaker and her manager of just under three years, Stella Bulochniko, have "mutually" decided to go their separate ways when it comes to day-to-day management.
A statement issued by Bulochniko to the New York Post’s Page Six column reads: "After working together for almost three years, Mariah Carey and Stella Bulochnikov have determined that it is in their mutual best interest to part ways on day-to-day management.
"During their time working together, they have accomplished great things, including, most recently, Mariah Carey’s new music and motion picture projects for this upcoming holiday season. Mariah Carey and Stella Bulochnikov remain partners in a number of business ventures, and will continue to support each other in those endeavours."
Bulochnikov managed Carey when she was involved in a disastrous New Year’s Eve performance at Times Square, which was plagued with technical difficulties.
At the time of the incident, Bulochnikov accused producers of "sabotaging" the performance.
She said: "You know her inner ears were NOT working and your entire production team did not set her up to win …
"AND MARIAH KEPT TELLING THEM ON STAGE IN REAL TIME. THEY KEPT IGNORING HER. SHE TOOK A HIT HONORING HER COMMITMENT TO YOU. I SHOULD HAVE PULLED HER OFF THE STAGE THIS IS SABOTAGE
"The country deserved better than that. They came to me and said, ‘What do you want us to do?’ I said, ‘I want you to cut the west coast feed, I want you to edit the west coast feed, I want you to do right by Mariah.’ It’s disgusting that they wouldn’t edit a better performance for west coast and say, ‘Hey, listen we’re so sorry that we had a mechanical problem but we love you Mariah, we’re grateful to you Mariah, we’re going to do anything we can to give America the right performance.’ (sic)"
