Mariah Carey was greeted with a barrage of boos after she arrived on stage 45 minutes late in Leeds last night (17.03.16).
The 45-year-old star, who is known for her diva antics, angered her adoring fans at the city’s First Direct Arena after she rocked up on stage at 21:30 – almost an hour after she was scheduled to – for the latest installment of her ‘Sweet Sweet Fantasy’ show.
The blonde beauty’s apparent lateness seemingly rubbed fans up the wrong way as just hours earlier she had joked on her Twitter that she hates having to leave her "fabulous bed" for gigs.
She wrote: "My darling #Lambs! As much as I hate leaving this fabulous bed at the @CorinthiaLondon, I am on my way to see you all in Leeds in 30 mins! (sic)"
However, although fans have to wait a while to see their idol, they will be pleased to know they will soon be able to watch her whenever they want as she’s planning to release her own show.
The songstress’ eight-episode documentary ‘Mariah’s World’ will see the starlet focus on her world tour and her upcoming wedding to billionaire businessman James Packer.
She said recently about the venture: "I’m excited to bring my fans into my life for the next journey I’m about to embark on. I’m already having so much fun with this documentary and I know you will too. There is nothing like capturing these moments."
