Marcel Somerville wants to do Celebrity Big Brother

Marcel Somerville wants to do ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ next year.
The ‘Love Island’ hunk has been inundated with job offers since he left the famous villa over the summer, but he has admitted the Channel 5 reality TV show is the only one he has his eye on at the moment because he wants to do better than his Blazin’ Squad band mate Kenzie, who was runner-up in the house in 2005, and is convinced he will.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, he said: "Put me in a ballroom with millions of people watching me dance and I’m going to be a wreck. Put me in a house full of people and I’ll be cool. I could top Kenzie on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’."
And, if he does manage to secure a spot on the line up next year, the money will certainly come in handy as he is trying to save up for an engagement ring for his girlfriend Gabby Allen after they fell in love while competing on ‘Love Island’ this year.
Gabby said recently: "If Marcel was to propose to me I’d say yes but for us it’s all about pace and there isn’t any rush right now but he said that he’s saving for a ring.
"That’d [a proposal will] be nice, I’ve never been proposed to before so I hope he’s going to pull something out of the bag."
Although they’ve only been together a matter of months, the couple aren’t wasting any time taking things to the next level as they recently moved into a flat together in Bethnal Green, East London.
The blonde bombshell said: "This weekend I moved all my stuff in. It’s in Bethnal Green. Basically I moved out of my flat and we were looking for something in the meantime because we want to buy something later on this year, but Marcel was like ‘Why don’t you move into mine?’ But it’s in Chingford. And I’ve lived on my own for eight years, and at the moment his mum lives with him and I still like having my freedom. I wouldn’t be able to go out and get drunk and be back too late.
"So I was like, ‘I’m going to get somewhere in the meantime’ and he was like, ‘Well, why don’t I get somewhere with you then?’ "
