Love Island’s Marcel Somerville is set to release a book filled with relationship advice.
The 31-year-old former Blazin’ Squad member became a fan favourite on the latest series of the ITV2 show after comforting those who had their hearts shattered, so it’s no wonder he’s been approached by a publisher about releasing his own tome.
Marcel took to Twitter to announce the news of his new book and wrote: "News!! I’m excited to announce I am releasing my own book in August with Blink Publishing, ‘Dr Marcel’s Little Book of Big Love’ #LoveIsland (sic)"
During his time at the villa, Marcel became close with a number of the contestants including Camilla Thurlow who he dubbed his little sister.
Speaking to The Sun Online, Marcel said: "I’ve always been the one my friends would go to for romantic advice, so being able to be a guru to the nation is an exciting prospect. ‘Dr Marcel’s Little Book of Big Love’ is gonna share all my knowledge and all the things I learned during my ‘Love Island’ experience."
Marcel and his girlfriend Gabby Allen finished fourth place on the show earlier this week and despite having a pact not to have sex on TV, the couple admitted to breaking their vows after the finale on Monday (24.07.17).
Gabby said: "We had sex last night after the wrap party. We were in a villa with no cameras so we flip reversed it.
"It was amazing. It definitely lived up to expectations. I was glad I waited.
"I would rather have got out and it be absolutely banging than us be underneath the covers trying not to get caught."
‘Dr Marcel’s Little Book of Big Love’ is set for release on August 24.
