Maisie Williams: Game of Thrones deaths are always great

Maisie Williams insists it would be "great" if she was killed off on ‘Game of Thrones’.
The 18-year-old actress – who portrays would-be assassin Arya Stark in the HBO drama series – doesn’t want to leave the show but knows the programme’s infamous "horrible deaths" always make for gripping viewing.
She said: "In Season One everyone realised how brutal the show was when they killed off Sean Bean, just like that.
"At the end of the day, these horrible deaths make great storylines. It makes the show what it is.
"So it would be really selfish if I were to say, ‘Oh, I never want Arya to die.’ I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I know that it will make a great storyline."
The upcoming series sees Arya blind as punishment for killing someone as personal revenge, and Maisie struggled with the contact lenses she had to wear.
She told Event magazine: "Filming with the contact lenses was really difficult – particularly the stunts. We had a couple of different types.
"One set I couldn’t see anything out of, one gave me a little bit of vision and one of them had a lot more vision. They were all pretty uncomfortable."
Season six is the first to be released before George R.R. Martin’s novel, and the actress has predicted some fans will be "unhappy" with what’s in store.
She said: "It’s like a fresh start.
"I’m sure some people are going to be unhappy with some things that are coming up, but you can’t deny that it’s a breath of fresh air."
