Maggie Grace has signed up to play a comic artist in ‘Supercon’.
The 32-year-old actress will star as Allison McNeal, a cute, artsy comic artist who makes drawings for cash, according to Deadline.
The film is produced by Joey Tufaro, who has worked on 2015’s ‘Maggie’.
According to the film synopsis on IMDB, the motion picture follows a motley group of comic book artists and former TV stars who earn a living working fan conventions.
The story follows their scheming ways to rob a crooked promoter and an overbearing former TV icon.
Filming is due to start later this month and is expected to be released in the US in 2017.
Gold Star Films and Momentum Productions have teamed up together for the movie.
Grace, who is known for starring in the ‘Lost’ and ‘Taken’, is due to appear alongside Terminator’s Arnold Schwarzenegger and Scoot McNairy from ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ in new film ‘478’.
She is currently filming ‘Scent of Rain and Lightening’, which stars Maika Monroe, who is in ‘Independence Day: Resurgence’.
