Madonna shared the stage with actress Pamela Anderson during a tour stop in Canada.
The 65-year-old pop superstar invited ‘Baywatch’ actress Pamela to join in the fun during her concert at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada on Wednesday (21.03.24) on Wednesday night – bringing Pamela on as a guest judge during the ‘Vogue’ segment in which dancers show off their best moves.
Madonna shared an image of the pair onstage together, sitting on chairs and holding up number cards, writing: “Thank you Vancouver … Best legs in town.”
Previous guest judges during the segment have included Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon and son Rocco Ritchie, as well as famous faces such as FKA Twigs, Diplo, Amy Schumer and Charlie Hunnam, fashion designers Jean Paul Gaultier, Stella McCartney and Donatella Versace and even the singer’s own private chef/babysitter who joined her onstage in Germany.
The ‘Celebration’ tour kicked off in London last year and headed to North America in December. Madonna is due to play five nights at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles next month before heading to Florida and Texas in April and wrapping up in Mexico City on April 26.
At the launch of her tour last year, Madonna said in a statement: “I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for.”
The singer’s musical director Stuart Price also explained the show to the BBC, saying: “A greatest hit doesn’t have to be a song. It can be a wardrobe, it can be a video, or a statement … Madonna’s reputation is for being highly precise and highly rehearsed across all departments.
“When you look at a tour of this scale, it has so many moving parts, so many elements, that everything has to be highly fixed.
“But there’s one thing that’s always dynamic, and that’s Madonna herself. Her personality is so strong, her interaction with the audience is so strong, that it creates opportunities for variation from night to night.”
