Lydia Bright had no choice but to dump Arg

Lydia Bright had no choice but to dump her boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent after discovering he had taken cocaine.
The 26-year-old beauty called time on their on/off romance after coming home from a night out to find Arg – who was suspended from ‘The Only Way is Essex’ in November 2014 for cocaine use and subsequently spent a month in rehab – had relapsed and been using the drug.
Lydia admits it was a difficult decision to make but was the right one for her to break things off with Arg.
In an appearance on ITV show ‘Lorraine’, she said: "Me and James actually broke up so nearly seven weeks ago, which was a tough decision to make but I felt like I didn’t really have a choice. But I’m feeling a lot stronger, a lot happier now."
In the wake of the split, Lydia jetted off to Indonesia for a break and has returned home to Essex feeling a lot more positive about the future.
Lydia – who is to work as a reporter on a special pink carpet at Lorraine’s High Street Fashion Awards – shared: "I’ve just come back from visiting a friend in Indonesia and I went travelling round all the islands and it was an amazing trip and exactly what I needed. I came back feeling a lot more positive and a lot more strong and looking forward to the future."
Arg, 28, is hoping to win back Lydia after his mistake and is confident he can get her back in his life.
This week, he told Heat magazine: "Me and Lydia are on a bit of a break at the moment. Of course I’m hoping that we’ll get back together in the near future."
