Lucy Watson has quit ‘Made in Chelsea’ – for now.
The 25-year-old beauty – who didn’t want to be involved in the show’s recent spin-off ‘South of France’ – has decided to sit out of the next series of the reality TV show because she wants to focus on her boyfriend James Dunmore.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the 25th anniversary dinner of HIV charity Positive East at London’s Beaufort House on Thursday (08.09.16), her friend Frankie Gaff said: "Lucy’s not going to be in the next series. At the moment she’s decided not to because she’s loved up."
However, it’s hardly surprising the brunette beauty – who has been dating James since last year – has decided to stay away from the show as her last appearance in the programme saw her lock horns with her best friend Stephanie Pratt after she "dumped" her for her boyfriend-at-the-time Josh Shepherd.
Lucy said at the time: "We don’t talk anymore. Last year was a very difficult year for me because she essentially dumped me for her boyfriend at the time [Josh Shepherd] as he didn’t like me. When something like that happens you don’t forget."
And, although she was slapped with heavy criticism for the way she handled it, Lucy is adamant she’s not mean.
She explained: "It’s very easy to make me out to be the villain because I don’t think before I speak. I know I can have a vicious tongue at times people shouldn’t jump to conclusions before they know the whole story."
