Lucy Fallon’s puppy has been pooping on her white carpets.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star is still trying to train her seven-month-old cavapoo – a poodle mixed with a cavalier king charles spaniel – to relieve himself in the garden and keeps coming home to find little brown packages on her light-coloured floor.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, the 22-year-old actress said: "I’ve got a dog. He’s alright, he’s a bit crazy and hard to handle but he’s OK.
"He’s good and cute, at least. He’s pooing on the carpet that’s the issue and we have cream carpets! So that’s why it’s a bit of a nightmare."
The blonde beauty – who plays Bethany Platt in the ITV soap – and her boyfriend Tom Leech introduced their new family member to her fans via Instagram over the summer when she uploaded a photograph of her cuddling up to the "little polar bear."
She accompanied the sweet shot with the caption: "Friday I’m in love everyone, @t_leech and I would like to introduce you to this lil polar bear, Milo. #milothecavapoo"
Lucy started dating Tom at the beginning of 2016 and the pair have since bought their own little house together and the actress is now hoping a proposal is on the cards.
She said recently: "I like the idea of a surprise proposal but I think Tom will do it in a different kind of way so I won’t be expecting it."
Tom added: "St Lucia would be the perfect place for a proposal but that’s yet to come. I’m not putting a time frame on it."
And, although the couple would like to get hitched, Lucy doesn’t want to have a family of her own until she’s in her late twenties.
She explained: "I’m veering more to my late twenties because I’ve still got loads of things I want to do. I’m really good with babies because I have nephews, but i like to give them back. I wouldn’t like it to be a full-time thing yet."
Tom added: "I’ll be around 35 when Lucy’s in her late twenties and that’s fine by me. I’m happy to leave it as long as we can."
