Lucie Jones gets married

Lucie Jones has got married.
The former ‘X Factor’ star – who represented the UK in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest – has had a somewhat of a busy year as not only has her singing career rocketed but she’s just tied the knot with Ethan Boroian in a ceremony at St David’s Church, Miskin, in South Wales, in front of their close friends and family.
Speaking to HELLO! magazine, the brunette beauty said: "Ethan is everything I could ever have wanted in a man. I count my lucky stars I found him every single day."
The 26-year-old star has admitted the service was so beautiful that she burst into tears when she saw her handsome beau standing at the end of the aisle.
She explained: "As soon as I saw Ethan, looking so dashing in his blue wedding suit, I started to well up. Then the male voice choir started to sing our song, God Only Knows by ‘The Beach Boys’, and an overwhelming feeling of intense emotion came over me.
"Suddenly, every precious memory of our time together came flooding back and I couldn’t stop the tears. I felt so elated and knew that marrying him was the best thing I would ever do."
The couple met at the ‘X Factor’ boot camp stage in 2009 and, although they left the competition at different rounds, they remained in touch and went on their first date five years later.
Ethan decided almost immediately that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Lucie and began filming a romantic proposal video just six days into their relationship.
The sweet montage, which concluded by asking her to marry him, took 18 months to film and was shot in various locations including Paris, Henley on Thames and Chicago.
