Love Island’s X Factor group sent to therapy

‘The X Factor: Celebrity’ contestants No Love Lost were reportedly sent to therapy after Simon Cowell sensed tension.
The ‘Love Island’ stars – Wes Nelson, Zara McDermott, Samira Mighty and Eyal Booker – were put together on the TV talent show after meeting in the villa in 2018, and it’s said spoke to professional help tackle their supposed "trust issues".
An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Simon called in professional therapists.
"There are a few problems behind the scenes which need to be ironed out, and so the pros were involved who could address these issues and make them more of a unit."
The reality stars took part in traditional trust exercises, including being blindfolded before falling backwards into the arms of the fellow Islanders.
However, 24-year-old model Eyal shut down the rumours of any real tension within the group and suggested they didn’t feel the need for the "bonding exercises".
He explained: "Despite us spending 16 hours together a day and writing our own tracks in the studio until after midnight, the show got us doing some bonding exercises.
"We found the whole thing hilarious. We didn’t think we could get any closer – but it goes to show we are the strongest we’ve ever been as a band."
Their rendition of Shawn Mendes’ ‘There’s Nothin’ Holding Me Back’ opened the series on October 12, and while Simon was impressed, he said the group need to work on their "distinct sound".
He explained: "For a first audition it was a good performance but it’s finding your distinct sound … but the fact is you can all sing…"
Ahead of the show, Eyal had said: "We’re quite musical people, you know, and we enjoy that.
"So if we get the opportunity to get to the next stage then I think there’s so much more that we wanna bring and showcase to everyone.
"There’s so many different aspects that if we had the chance to do that then hopefully we’re going to continue to prove people wrong."
