Love Island’s Sophie Piper won’t rule out Connor Durman reunion

Sophie Piper won’t rule out a reunion with Connor Durman after ‘Love Island’.
The 25-year-old hunk was booted out of the villa after a recoupling earlier this week, and his former flame – who decided to stay in the villa rather than leaving with him – opens up about her thoughts on tonight’s (30.01.20) episode.
Speaking to Shaughna Phillips, she says: "I sort of expected to go tonight.
"[But] with the whole Connor situation, if we’ve got that connection that we’ve built up, it won’t go if I’m in here.
"If someone walks in and I think I would have a better connection with them than I would Connor, then I could possibly get to know them.
"Until that happens, or if that happens, I’m just going to enjoy whatever happens in here and go with the flow."
After his departure on Monday (27.01.20), Connor insisted he won’t hold "any grudges against" Sophie.
He said: "I wouldn’t want her second guessing things and regretting anything.
"Whatever she does, I’m happy for her… It’s still early on in the villa. Her head could be turned.
"I want her to enjoy the experience. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime thing. I wouldn’t have any grudges against her. I do just want her to be happy."
And the star also hinted he would wait for Sophie outside the villa because he’s "in no rush to meet someone else".
He added: "I’d say [to her], ‘Follow your heart and I want you to be happy, and just enjoy the ride’. Whatever happens, happens.
"And if we end up meeting up, let’s just see what happens. I just want her to be happy, really."
Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media One and ITV2.
