Love Island’s Laura Anderson ‘split from rugby star’

‘Love Island’ star Laura Anderson’s relationship with a rugby player broke up just months after she posted selfies wearing a sparkler on her ring finger.
The 29-year-old air stewardess had previously hooked up with 32-year-old former Scarlets pro Mike Poole, but the pair later split, according to The Sun Online.
Laura started sharing pictures of herself with the ex-Newport Gwent Dragons star in October 2015, and in August 2016 she posted a selfie in which she was wearing a ring on her engagement finger.
Just two months earlier, Laura publicly asked Mike if he would be popping the question anytime soon.
Captioning a picture from a hen do, she wrote "are we next? The girls want another hen next year. We need to please the people (sic)"
But just three months later she appeared in a picture taken in the gym without the ring on, and Mike doesn’t seem to have appeared on her Instagram since.
In September 2016, she posted the quote: "Getting over a painful experience is much like crossing monkey bars. You have to let go at some point in order to move forward (sic)"
A source close to Laura told the publication that the ‘Love Island’ star has never been engaged.
Since joining ‘Love Island’ earlier this week, Laura has coupled up with 20-year-old nuclear systems design engineer Wes Nelson, and the pair have already shown their affections for one another by sharing several smooches.
But Laura will be evicted from the villa if she doesn’t remain in a couple on tonight’s (08.06.18) show.
The girl who is not in a pair at the end of this evening’s episode will be booted off the show.
‘Love Island’ continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
