Joe Garratt and Lucie Donlan will share a smooch on tonight’s (04.06.19) ‘Love Island’ – and Tommy Fury will reveal she is also his type.
The pair coupled up on last night’s (03.06.19) launch episode and will take the next step in the early stages of their romance on this evening’s ep when they kiss as part of the Islanders’ first challenge of the series, ‘Slide into the DMs’.
The task will see each boy grease up and slide into a pool of slime to recover a secret about one of the girls, and once he’s decided who it is about he has to plant a kiss on them.
With Tommy watching on, Joe kisses Lucie after deciding the secret he has picked out is about her.
The girls then do the same, during which Anna Vakili and Sherif Lanre share a smooch.
It comes after they spent the first night engaged in some "snuggles" while sharing a bed together.
Reflecting on the evening in the Beach Hut, Sherif says: "Last night was nice. I feel like me and Anna are on the same page. We’re going at the same pace. She’s a lovely girl all round.
"So, I’m chuffed. I’m really happy with the choice I made. The subs-bench worked out for me."
Speaking to the girls about their night, Anna says: "It was good. We had a little snuggle."
And she says in the Beach Hut: "Sherif’s like my human hot water bottle. It was nice. He’s really good at the snuggles."
Elsewhere, Tommy – who appeared as a bombshell late entrant alongside Curtis Pritchard in last night’s launch episode – opened up to the lads about his softer side.
The 20-year-old boxer – whose brother is pro fighter Tyson Fury – says: "It’s mad because everyone judges me on my last name as being a d***head but I am anything but that.
"I love ‘Hannah Montana’ for God’s sake. There isn’t one bad bone in my body."
He tells the girls: "A lot of people have presumptions of me due to my last name and who I am related to.
"A lot of people second guess me. I want to make it really clear that I’m not after any quick mess around or just here to make the time up. I am after romance and I want a good connection."
What’s more, Tommy makes it clear he has set his sights on Lucie.
Speaking in the Beach Hut, he says: "At the moment the girl I want to pursue is going to be Lucie. She’s a surfer, she goes to the gym. Her body is banging.
"She has beautiful eyes, a beautiful face, beautiful everything."
Later in the episode, late entrants Tommy and Curtis will choose a girl to couple up with.
What’s more, last night’s ‘Love Island’ series five launch was the programme’s most-watched launch episode to date with a peak of 3.7 million viewers tuning in to watch the new Islanders head into the villa.
‘Love Island’ continues at 9pm tonight on ITV2.
