Hayley Hughes is left "p***ed off" with Eyal Booker in tonight’s (05.06.18) ‘Love Island’.
The pair coupled up on last night’s first episode of the series – which was watched by 2.9 million viewers, more than double last year’s launch – but they have already clashed after he described the programme as a "game", much to her disgust.
During a discussion about how people’s situations can quickly change in the villa, Hayley says: "You saw what can happen in a day, by the time we re-couple things could have changed."
Eyal replies: "It’s mad … This is a game."
But a surprised Hayley says: "Is it a game? I thought you didn’t have a game plan?"
Eyal replies: "I don’t have a game plan but this whole thing is made to be a game."
Hayley then says: "It’s not a game, it’s only a game if you want it to be a game."
Eyal insists the show is "a game" and that he will be doing what he feels at the time, but this further frustrates the 21-year-old model.
She replies: "At that time? So it could change tomorrow?"
The 22-year-old model then says: "Like it could with you. We don’t know. I haven’t worked you out."
Later in the Beach Hut, Hayley voices her frustrations to Eyal, saying: "I was p***ed off to tell you the truth and then I was like, I don’t even want to speak to you."
Her comments come after Eyal tries to reassure her that he doesn’t want to "hurt anyone’s feelings" in the villa.
He says: "The point that I was trying to make is that I’m not in here to mess anyone around, to hurt anyone’s feelings but ‘Love Island’ is a game and if anyone else walks through the door and catches my eye, then that’s who I’m going to go with."
Elsewhere in the villa tonight, one of the lads will be left single when Geordie hunk Adam Collard steals their girl, and the first ‘Love Island’ challenge takes place.
‘Love Island’ continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
