Love Island’s Curtis Pritchard claims he would have dumped Amy Hart even if Casa Amor didn’t happen.
The ITV2 stars awkwardly appeared in front of Caroline Flack on last night’s (04.08.19) the ‘Love Island Reunion’, and he was grilled on whether he would’ve remained with his former half-girlfriend if the Casa Amor stage of the show hadn’t happened.
Curtis said: "I think what happened and how it did, it would have come out anyway, I feel. It wasn’t 100 per cent right. It would have ended up happening even if Casa Amor didn’t appear."
The former couple and Curtis’ new beau Maura Higgins were forced to sit next to each other on the reunion show sofa, and some fans admitted it was an "unbearably awkward" moment.
The 23-year-old ballroom dancer turned to Amy and said: "You are an amazing young lady you really are, but I think it would have ended up happening even if Casa Amor didn’t appear."
The 26-year-old former air hostess and Curtis reunited last night for the first time since she voluntarily left the villa.
The pair called it quits after he had his head turned by Jourdan Riane while the original villa girls were away from the main villa at Casa Amor.
During the awkward reunion, Caroline asked Amy whether or not she was seeing anyone.
She said: "No. I speak to guys when I go out and stuff, but I’m a bit busy at the moment."
Amy also denied rumours she has sparked a romance with former Islanders Callum MacLeod and Marvin Brooks.
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist said: "Marvin is my absolute bestie, he looked after me so well when I was at my worst time in the villa.
"Callum, we just get drunk and post pictures. He was my boy, we had a lovely first week together."
