Love Island’s Amy Hart confronts Curtis Pritchard after Jourdan Riane chat

Amy Hart confronts Curtis Pritchard and lays her feelings on the line.
With things heating up on ‘Love Island’, the 26-year-old beauty chats to new girl Jourdan Riane, 24, to get up to speed with the situation while she was in Casa Amor, and she makes a list on her phone of the issues she wants to raise with her half-boyfriend.
Speaking to Curtis, 23, on Thursday night’s (04.07.19) episode, she says: "I’m going to read stuff off my phone as a prompt. It’s not that it isn’t from my heart because it is. I want this to be the last conversation we have about these issues.
"I don’t think you ever actually liked me at all… I feel like I was an acceptable placeholder until you found someone better.
"You did but then she [Jourdan] coupled up with Danny so you came back to your back-up plan… I don’t think you actually fancy me.
"You’re having meaningful snogs with other girls when I’m not here. How is that ok? For me, absence made the heart grow stronger. For you, it was out of sight, out of mind."
After listening to Amy expressing how she feels, Curtis interrupts to insist the last point is "not true".
Amy argues: "You knew this would break my heart and you still did it."
When he repeats the positive things he has said about her in the past, she points out that he "still went behind [her] back and got with someone else".
Curtis adds: "You don’t ever back yourself? I do like you and I can see a future with you. Everything I have said to you I have meant."
‘Love Island’ airs tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two and ITV2.
