Jack Fowler will move on with Grace Wardle in tonight’s (09.07.18) ‘Love Island’ after rejecting Laura Anderson.
The 22-year-old semi-pro footballer was ditched by Laura, 29, only for her to apologise to him last night (08.07.18) and see if they could get back together, but he decided against doing so and looks to be moving on with Grace – who is coupled up with Alex George – after he invites her to get to know him.
She says: "When I first saw you I thought ‘you’re fit’ and everything. Everyone in here is fit. But I did notice how confident you were and how affectionate you were to Laura and I thought that was really nice.
"The more I’ve seen you around, I just think you’re quite a nice guy so it’ll be nice to get to know you."
Jack replies: "Don’t feel as if you can’t come and chat to me. It’s not like you’re going to step on anyone’s toes. I’m single in here."
Grace and Jack spend some time together when she cuts his hair, and her affection for him makes her more nervous about chopping his tresses.
Speaking in the Beach Hut, she says: "I was really nervous cutting Jack’s hair. I was trying to concentrate making sure the haircut was good but I was also trying to concentrate on giving it the chat. I was thinking, ‘Do not mess this up’."
Jack later admits he is enjoying getting to know Grace.
He says: "Getting to know you more and more it’s nice. There are a lot of things about you that I think are quite unexpected."
She tells him: "I think you bring out a more playful side to me which is nice."
What’s more, ‘Love Island’ received its biggest audience ever last night (08.07.18) with 3.4 million viewers tuning in, giving the show a 17.8 per cent share.
