Love Island’s Adam Collard is an heir to millions because of his property tycoon dad.
The 22-year-old personal trainer’s father Billy is said to be worth a fortune thanks to his wise investments in Northumberland, but Adam is hoping the ITV2 show’s ladies judge him on his own qualities rather than his potential bank balance.
An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "The islanders and viewers will be stunned to know about this."
Billy was said to be worth around £3 million in 2008 due to his residential and businessman properties, but that figure is estimated to be even higher nowadays.
Adam has previously praised his father as the "coolest, most inspiring and generous guy" he knows, and once relied on his dad to help remove him from a date – just so he didn’t have to eat pizza.
He said: "I’ve been on some horrendous ones where I’m pulling teeth and I’ve slyly texted my dad to ring me and get me out of the situation.
"I was on a really serious prep for a fitness shoot… I couldn’t be near pizza.
"That was the best shape I’ve ever been in at the time."
But Adam and Billy have clashed at times, such as when his dad told him off for getting a tattoo as a teenager, only for his father to get a full sleeve done.
He said: "I got kicked out of the house for getting the first one. It is a circle.
"Then my dad went to Las Vegas and came back with half a sleeve. He said, ‘I’m 45 I know what I am doing.’ "
Adam has already caused controversy in the villa by taking Kendall Rae-Knight from Niall Aslam after he was tasked with stealing one of the girls following the initial coupling up ceremony.
