Love Island villa targeted by ‘at least 5’ intruders a day

The ‘Love Island’ villa is targeted by "at least five" would-be intruders a day.
Former Islander Alex Miller has revealed the show’s security has to deal with numerous attempts to get into the famous abode, and he was "impressed" with their resilience, because no one has managed to get into the building.
He said: "When I left, I chatted with the guys who looked after us.
"They told me at least five people a day try to access that villa – but so far no-one has got in.
"They’re clearly doing a good job! I was impressed."
‘Love Island’ bosses make the Islanders’ safety one of their "top priorities" during the contestants’ time in the villa.
A show spokeswoman told the Daily Star newspaper: "There is round the clock, wide security coverage at the villa site and the islanders’ protection and safety is our top priority."
What’s more, the villa’s stars have missed out on seeing England make it to the World Cup semi-finals, only for the Three Lions to crash out to Croatia after extra-time last night (11.07.18).
But it’s not for the want of trying as Alex admitted the contestants "begged" show bosses to let them in on what was going on in the Russian-based tournament.
He said: "We were begging them to tell us about the World Cup.
"But they’re trained to say nothing."
The World Cup has been playing havoc with schedule changes to numerous shows, including ‘Love Island’, which was pushed back to a 10pm start after England’s game against Croatia went into extra-time.
